Hey Mec, where did you get the hollowbased bullets you show with that reproduction Walker in another post?
Those look like just the ticket for long range shooting. You note that they weigh 230 gr. Clearly, they're made for cap and ball revolvers because they have a heel for easy loading.
I seem to recall that Lee once offered its .44 cap and ball revolver mould in hollowpoint or hollowbase. Am I imagining this? I know that Lee doesn't now; I"ve checked.
Anyway, I'd be interested to learn where you got those bullets, or the mould to produce them.
And by the way, you stinker .... now you've got ME wanting a Walker or a Dragoon. I can't decide which: the Walker with its history but failings, or the Dragoon with its slightly reduced powder capacity but better functioning.
Sometimes I wonder if Ol' Scratch doesn't sit on his throne of burning coals and grin at the lusts of those "tetched" by the Holy Black.
