Elk hunt help.

we are leaving on December the 8th-14th. we are going to be hunting on my friends uncles farm, he does raise elk. this will be the first year of hunting on his land, and we are being given the chance. I do not know if it is all fenced inn or not, my friend is not sure, he was just asked if he wanted to hunt, and that he was aloud to bring five people.

will be a good time I believe.

Ah, for the record H&H does know what he talking about and is our resident expert on big game hunting on two continents.

Way to go Scotty...you finally spit out the truth...guess you were only attempting to deceive us. For the record you are not hunting elk. What you are doing is called 'killing' elk. Only ------- kill animals in a fence in my opinion. When you have climbed up and down mountains for days without seeing an elk and you continue to hunt you can call yourself an elk hunter. What you are doing a 22 long rifle in the heat will save some meat for you. Ha. Ha. Ignorance must be bliss.

not trying to decive anyone, did not know where we were hunting, and I do not even know if the place id fenced in, all I know is that he raises elk. I am disabled, and have c.o.p.d. not from smokeing, I do not smoke, I have lead and other chemicals in my lungs from work, I also fell 36 feet from a bridge I was working on, and just can't get around like I used to.

so if this is what I have to do to get elk, I will gladly take it. weather it is fenced in or not. I know I do not have that many more years before I can't even hunt anymore, and will problably be my last opertunity for elk.

thank you. you never know how much you miss something untill you get to the point you can't do it anymore. I used to stalk deer for what seemed like miles, now I walk 30-40 steps up hill and have to rest.

so this will be the perfect oppurtunity for me

I've been in the field with H&H Hunter, and have been reading his posts for the better part of a decade.

It's safe to assume that he's forgotten more about hunting and field craft than any other five men put together.

If he thinks you're full of it, I have no reason whatsoever to doubt him.
