Looking to put a muzzle brake on a Black Hole Weaponry 6x45 barrel. Threading is 1/2-28. Any recommendations? In looking on MidwayUSA, most seem to be configured for 223 Rem. Need one that is pre-configured to accomodate a 6mm round.

I put a Cooley compensator on my G3 clone. It is LOUD and will clear out your sinus.

But muzzle jump is reduced noticeably, recoil is about the same, I'd say.

I've got a Cooley on my .308 bolt gun and it is really effective and not obnoxious as some that I've been on the range with including the one machined into the end of the barrel of one of my .223 ARs.

I've got the Smith Enterprise "Good Iron" brake on my 6x45. Recoil isn't exactly heavy on the 6x45 and with the brake, it's essentially non-existent. Now if I could just sort out the problems with the barrel and get mine to shoot...

I use a Levang Lienier Compensator on my 6x45. works great , sends most of the noise downrange where it belongs. the hole is big enough for 6mm with no modification. Don't be a duffus and use a pipe wrench on it , it has a bunch of holes in the end -use 2 rods (drill bits, allen wreches ect,.) and a cross bar . You'll figure it out. Looks like a small can, but you will still need earplugs.

Love that 6x45. 80gr barnes ttxs 2800fps 16" barrel will handle any game out to 200m.
