A friend has a 2 year old Miroku Browning auto he purchased new at local gun shop. He has shot it less than 300 rds with CCI mini mags. It has been consistently jamming on almost every magazine. That is why he hasn't used it very much as he has other rifles. He noticed a slight barrel bulge a couple inches from the muzzle. He says the gun has never been stuck in the mud as he uses it from a boat.
He shipped the gun to Browning in MO for repair. They will not warranty the barrel. they are charging him $200 for an obvious factory defect.
Has anyone encountered barrel bulges in SA-22 from a factory defect. Browning techs are claiming that the barely noticeable bulge is contributing to the jamming??
Are CCI mini mags capable of bulging an unobstructed barrel??
What say you?
