    Sig P365

I am sure some will find fault, but I have no complaints with my standard and xl. I did install a Wilson Combat grip module on the xl and enjoy shooting it, but the little guy, with a Hogue HandAll installed gets most of the carry time.

It is in the general gun discussion section, just a few threads down from the new member thread. Thanks for asking!

    Camping/woods knife

I notice that a few of your knives feature relief at the top forward part of the scales. Is there supposed to be a benefit from that, or is it primarily a matter of style? I would think that would cause hot spots when heavy cutting pressure was applied.

    Another one bites the dust

It seems like a perfect storm for the small Local Gun Shop. Difficult and expensive to obtain stock, competition from online sources and increasingly stringent regulations. There is well-hidden opportunity for those agile enough to step into the space occupied by those who are leaving, but we do...

@Spartan-117 we are not the biggest but we are the best. You are welcome to participate, but we'll have to get to know you a bit before you will have access to the trading post. These days, we also remind folks that people selling guns in quantity may attract attention they did not seek.

Opinions On This 303 British Rifle Please

While ammunition lubrication may be a fascinating subject, it has little if any relevance to the original posting. If desired, that topic may be explored in a thread created for that purpose. If such a thread is posted, please remember to refrain from disparagement. Thank you for helping to...

    No knock warrant?

Until further information is released, all we can do is speculate. I will lock this thread but a new thread may be opened when we have further factual information to discuss.

    Shooting Range Near a Well

I claim no expertise, but those who say the lead tends not to migrate seem to know. Still, someday the property will be for sale, and potential buyers will be encouraged to hear that lead was contained and recycled.

    = $95 = Viridian Serac 6-24x50 (30mm tube) - Natchez Tax Refund Sale

It's like having a few parts left over from a recent AR build--nature's way of telling us to start the next build! These may very well entice more folks to get into the long range game. For me, 100 yards is crazy long for rimfires. But now 200 or more is an option.

You are both relatively new to the community. One of the things that makes this place unique is that we try to keep it kid friendly. We used to say if it would offend Art [Eatman's] grandma, don't say it. Vulgar terms are more common in everyday speech than they used to be, but are likely part...

Whoa, we try to keep the terminology civil in these parts. Welcome, Big-bore-bob! If you encounter crudeness, that's what the Report button is for. Please check out the THR primer in general gun discussions and be kind!

Is USCCA getting a fair shake on YouTube?

There is no consensus on fair, video channels have nothing to do with fair, and this is an issue of whose product, if any, meets the needs of the consumer. Time to clear the channel.

Walther PP vs Makarov PM vs… Everything Else

My German PPK/S in 380 and my Russian commercial Pistolet Makarova in 9x18 were functional but not optimal. The Walther was beautiful but DA trigger pull was heavy. It never drew blood but I have read many accounts of slide bite. Sights were tiny, capacity was limited. The Makarov had adjustable...

    Benefit of Safety Training

The best way to learn is to teach. The young folks in our classes are there because they can legally hunt at 11 if they show us that they understand the principles of hunter safety and responsibility. Otherwise, they do not qualify for a license until 16. We have adults in every course who are...
