An inductive proximity sensor could be added to detect the difference between case position/double case/loaded.
That said, the loaded round issue is just plain negligence. The reloader needs to follow good practices.
Alliant already halted production once a few years ago, so this isn't a big surprise.
RL16 is a good powder but there are other options to choose from if I run out. I have already started to go away from RL15.
What is your goal?
Again, the RMR bullets are decent for the price, but don't expect much in the way of accuracy from them.
Do you have a good baseline on what your rifle is capable of? Using a high quality bullet, such as a 69 or 77 Sierra Matchking will help you find a good baseline.
Ramshot Silhouette with lead bullets worked great for me in a 40 S&W. A friend shoots Silhouette with 147 grain lead bullets in 9mm, and has no leading.
RL15 is a good choice. Some talk about temperature issues but as long as you are staying away from maximum loads, it will serve you well.
I really struggled to get the RMR 69 3GH to shoot well for me, and I tried it in 3 different rifles. The 75 3GH seems to shoot much better.

A good friend had one of those years ago. They are a nice rifle and 222 is a great cartridge. He now has a custom 222 built by Dan Dowling that is one of the most accurate guns I have ever shot.
The 722 is most likely a 14 twist. You may get away with a 55 grain bullet, but most are shooting...
How do you know it wasn't the bullet?
Recently, I was shooting some 77 SMK blems, and had three 5-shot groups where four shots would touch and one would be 1/2 inch outside.
The groups were all sub MOA so I was happy with that. I need to do another test with non-blems to make sure it was me...
