Vortex PST Gen II 5-25X on Sale at Midway

If I was looking at one of these or another Strike eagle, which is the better bang for the buck? Looks like the Viper has a 30mm tube instead of 34mm and less adjustment, I'm thinking about a 6MM Creedmoor, the Strike Eagle is on a 6.5 Creedmoor and so far, I've been pleased. I also have a Venom but was thing about stepping up for a 6mm.

I can't comment on the Strike Eagle as I have no experience with it. I have a PST Gen II and like it. Even with tax, the Midway sale got me another for just under $650 delivered.

I’m very happy with mine, it’s been on a 6 Creed in PRS matches, and right now it’s on a .22 LR match rifle. It worked/works very well for both.

How do you like the 6 Creed compared to the 6 Dasher? I like my Strike Eagle and was thinking another would look good on a 6 Creedmoor or 6 GT

Viper PST G2 > Strike Eagle in optic quality, and this sale price on the PST2 is better than normal price for the SE.

I like having 6 Creeds and 6 Dashers, both, BUT, if I were to only have one for PRS competition, it would probably be the Dasher. GT sits in the middle, and certainly isn't a wrong choice, I just like these two cases better. It's really a horse apiece - the 6 creed does burn barrels a lot faster, and does use up ~33% more powder than the others. BUT... the Creed does make targets ~2 tenths wider than the Dasher. Roll a die, if you roll a 1 or a 4, get a Dasher, if you roll a 2 or a 5, get a GT, if you roll a 3 or a 6, get a Creed. None will be wrong.
