Has anyone tried Brownells Moly Bore Paste? If so, did it help with cleaning or accuracy? I’m thinking about giving it a try.

Years ago "Molly" lube was all the big thing. Don't see it much any more. There was molly coated bullets.
It is near impossible to remove

Save your money
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll pass!!

Not for this old boy. I shot some moly coated bullets out ofmy700 222 years back and it took forever to get old Lucy back to shooting subMOA. Judicious use of JB as a matter of fact.

There were those that swore by moly, and those that swore at it. A long range champ who rebarreled a number of my rifles, told me that his long range scores were consistently down by a point, maybe two, when he used moly. He had a great barrel he took off his rifle and stored it in the rafters, and after shooting enough moly through another tube, he took the rafter barrel out, removed the moly barrel, and everything was back to better.

I think the real reason moly went away was because moly was messy, got on everything, and you tracked it into the house, and it was hard to clean up. And after the beer googles faded, scores were not really all that better.

I like Iosso bore cleaner I think I have tried everything there is but I always come back to Iosso bore cleaner and there gun polish is great also it will clean the rings off the front of the cylinder.

Still got powder coating and liquid moly in a cabinet somewhere from back in it's glory days. Did it help with accuracy and not having to clean? I never saw a difference...
