I pulled the swivel from my Marauder due to bipod use. My Father would say, 'it's cheap plastic", others would come to find I abused the space aged polymer. In any case, I really liked it with the bipod (springs are a bit stronger than needed though) and did not like the cost and/or weight, of aftermarket stocks for something I just play with from time to time.
So, I cut the threads off the swivel and the head of a 10-32 screw. Then threaded a piece of 3/8 brass rod, 10-32.
Next, I welded the threads to the swivel head and turned the brass to fit the damaged hole I drilled out to 1/4" (from the top vs bottom).
And pressed it in.
Put the tank pad back in
and we are back in business, for free, today.
